1995 SBC STROKER S10.
1995 GMC Sonoma
This truck was bought after it's previous owner had hit a deer
and had done some major damage to the front end as well as heat
seizing the 4.3l V6. The body was repaired and then block sanded
many times to give it a strait clean look. A custom steel welded
roll pan and tailgate were added and it was painted in Cadillac
sunset orange pearl paint. The 4.3l was then re-built and givin a
new life, that's not where the story ends however after a couple of
years a new motor was built to replace the 4.3L and here it is;
-SBC 350 4-bolt main roller motor borred 40 over.
-Hyperutectic pistons
-Comp hydrolic roller cam shaft.
-Edlebrock air gap manifold.
-holley 750 cfm carb.
-Rebuilt ported and polished 202I,160E, 292 angle plug iron
heads.
-Built 700R4 trans with 2500 stall converter and a shift
kit.
-7-5/8 factory posi.
A few other subtle however unique things were done to this truck
including a custom hand made console designed to look factory but
housing a B&M Hammer shifter. Another add-on was the ZQ8 Quick
ratio steering package, sway bars and the wheels to go with, almost
as if this was a GM option. Finally M/T 255/50/16 drag radials were
put on to get this truck to hook up.
